Hino is located 20 miles west of Tokyo. It has a population of 150,000. Redlands has hosted Japanese of all ages and has coordinated art and cultural exhibits. Hino has given a warm welcome to Redlands’ residents and to special groups such as the RHS Marching Band and the Redlands Express Soccer Team and their parents. Residents of Hino have been generous in opening their homes to exchange participants and helping them to learn about Japanese culture
